eviivo is proud to present two new prestigious awards to recognise and reward the excellence of small, independent accommodation businesses throughout the UK.

The eviivo Gold Award and the eviivo Friendliest Award are based on the responses of reviews direct from genuine guests who have stayed in the featured accommodation. The high standards of hospitality shown by our partners using frontdesk has meant that achieving a place on the shortlists was extremely difficult.

We know that there are very many excellent B&Bs, guest houses, hotels, inns, pubs, restaurants with rooms and self-catering properties that have just missed out on the final cut, but there is always next year to look forward to.

Collection of the data for the eviivo Awards 2011 is already underway. All businesses using frontdesk are eligible for these awards - all we need is a minimum of 10 guest reviews and the rest is down to the response from your guests (please click here to view the full criteria). *Criteria for the eviivo Gold and Friendliest Awards 2010: 1. eviivo Gold Award: highest overall guest rating scores in 2010 for each regional category. Properties must have received 10 or more reviews through the eviivo Guest Review Programme between 1 January 2010 and 31 December 2010. 2. eviivo Friendliest Award: highest Friendliness guest rating scores in 2010 for each regional category. Properties must have received 10 or more reviews through the eviivo Guest Review Programme. The following criteria apply to both categories and are combined with the scores in 1 and 2 above. 3. Highest guest rating scores in other eviivo Guest Review Programme categories (Rooms, Value, Cleanliness, Facilities, Staff service, Location and Breakfast). 4. Compliance with eviivo's online retail guidelines and principles: online booking best practice (e.g. availability checker/'Book Online' button on website homepage and/or tariffs page) and quality of website (user experience, photographs and descriptions). Note: Final decision on the awards review and selection process to be made at the sole discretion of the eviivo panel.
